Job Summary
The Consu|tant will be responsib|e for assessing a|l aspects of infraCredit’Client’s Environnnental and Social Governance with reference to the IFC Performance Standards and EQUITY TRUST SAVINGS CHRIS TRADING’ E6‹S Policy and provide detailed reports on findings as well as recommendations for remedial actions.

The Consu|tant will be responsib|e for assessing a|l aspects of infraCredit’Client’s Environnnental and Social Governance with reference to the IFC Performance Standards and EQUITY TRUST SAVINGS CHRIS TRADING’ E6‹S Policy and provide detailed reports on findings as well as recommendations for remedial actions.
Job Responsibilities
The resource person will be responsib|e for but not be limited to the following:
Preliminary Review:
- Review all available information and documentation related to project environmental and social impacts and risks
- Prepare a list of additional information and/ or questions that will be needed for appraisa|s.
- Work with internal and external credit review team on environmental and social issues on potentia|and active guarantees. Environmental and Social Monitoring
- Conduct Environmental and Social Monitoring for guaranteed companies to ensure that guaranteed companies are compliant Wth covenants contained in the Recourse Deed and also to ensure that infraCredit is aware and prepared to manage environmental and social risks from the business activities and operations of the guaranteed companies.
- Prepare environmental and social report for EQUITY TRUST SAVINGS CHRIS TRADING’s existing portfolio. The report will cover environmental and social performance for the guaranteed companies based on findings from the initial ESDD and other agreed environnnenta| and social performance indicators. The reports will be prepared in line with investor requirements such as PIDG, GuarantCo and KfW. Site Visit and Further Review:
- Conduct site inspections, review facility-based records, and interview key staff, including both sponsor personne| and re|evant stakeho|ders (regulatory officialsc, community leaders, suppliers,and customers) E6zS Performance Gaps and Necessary Corrective Actions Analyses:
- Analyse project environnnenta| and social performance in relation to lnfraCredit’s Environnnental and social policy including IFC Performance Standards
- ldentify these gaps and any corresponding corrective actions that will be necessary
- Recommend acceptable and justified imp|ementation schedu|es.
Skills
- Strong understanding of ESG.
- Very strong alignment with lnfraCredit’s coreva|ue system – innovation, Passion integrity and Collaboration.
- Good understanding of the |ega| environment as it affects cmmerrcia| transactions in the capita| market space.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Detail oriented and articulate.
- Good interpersona| and communication skills.
